What a busy time……the Gardening Year waits for no-one! How true.
My gardening clients are slowly appearing from their winter hideaways (Much like their plants !) and I am becoming extremely busy advising, pruning, planting and giving each garden that Spring Clean- well deserved after the winter we’ve just had. And boy do I need to lose those winter lbs!!!!!
Alas, would I be lost without my garden tool bag at this time of year. From hand forks, pruning shears to string, having them constantly by my side makes planting, tying, training and pruning so much simpler and I no longer loose my valuable tools.
A tip for you younger ladies – Use a kneeling pad when kneeling to do your garden. I took my knees for granted and now I suffer slightly so look at my range of kneelers, carefully selected for comfort and price.
Feeling your garden needs a lift? Garden accessories can help give a quick fix. Rainbow bubbles are so versatile, they can be hung from trees, placed in borders or ponds – They reflect the light and can just give that magical fresh, free feel. One of my favourites. Have a look and enjoy the sparkle.
Another tip is buy Dahlias. Buy them now and pot them up in put them in the greenhouse or at least undercover for the time being…..plant out around May – They flower mid to late summer and believe me, they give a fantastic display, come in a variety of colours and sizes, and can be used as a cut flower….come on, your garden matters because you do.
