Christmas is just around the corner and for many of us,the garden is left until the Spring. There is still much to do if we choose to do it.
If you want to keep your Lavenders in shape, now is the time to cut back all those stems and old dead growth. Roses are still in flower in some of the gardens I manage. However, as soon as flowering finishes, dead head to tidy them up but try not to prune until the Spring.
Did you know you can get winter flowering Sweet Peas!!! Also you can continue to grow lettuce…so the gardening year doesnt have to stop now.
