Autumn Planting

What a fantastic summer we have had in the garden.  Many flowers are still performing.  Now is a good time to start preparing for the Spring, a small amount of time spent planting bulbs will put us in the best mood come February/March, when they begin to appear from their Winter slumber.  Snowdrops are the first signs of Spring and the first to flower.  Then the Daffs.  Followed by the many colours of Tulips which I highly recommend.

An excellent planting scheme to plant now or in the Spring is Lavender, Verbenna and Alliums.  A great spectacular professional look from early Summer.  No harm in planning ahead. Happy planting. Lin
